I upgraded to v 3.998 and started getting the following message:
372 eJukebox.9.Sub ControlVisualFailed to load control 'MediaPlayer' from msdxm.ocx. Your version of msdxm.ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are
using the version of the control that was provided with your application.
I upgraded to v 3.999 beta2 and it fixed the error.
I then upgraded to v3.999 final and the same error is back

Try putting this in Windows\System32\

I replaced every instance of msdxm.ocx on my computer and I still got that error message.
Anything else?
If anything, can I go back to v.3.999 beta 2?

You'll need to replace this file first in C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache (hidden system directory) before replacing the one in system32. This is
because the dllcache area is used during O/S repair cycles and so it will simply replace the version you've got in system32 with the one in dllcache.
You may need to rename the one in dllcache if the O/S doesn't let you replace it so you can copy the file from Audiosoft above. Once both new
copies are replaced in dllcache and system32 directories you'll need to run the following command from a DOS prompt from the
C:\WINDOWS\system32> directory:
regsvr32 msdxm.ocx
You should then get the message "DllRegisterServer in msdxm.ocx succeeded."
This will refresh the Classes Root area of the registry with this ocx.

There were 6 places with the file msdxm.ocx. I replaced every one with the new version and then typed in the dos prompt, but still can't get the
error message to go away.
Thanks for your help.
Is there anything else I can do?

I deleted every instance of msdxm.ocx except the one in the system32 folder and that seems to have fixed the problem.
eJukebox has been running about 5 minutes without the error.
Before it wouldn't run 30 seconds without the message coming up.
Hope this fixes it.
