Using external mp3-decoder?

Is it possible to use external mp3-decoder, e.g. Sound Blaster USB-version, with eJukebox? If I understand correctly, you must bypass Winamp completely and output mp3-datastream directly to usb-port. Can you do this?

I have the USB "Soundblaster MP3" device (i.e. external sound card) hooked up to my laptop. Although I don't have eJukebox on that machine, I do have winamp and it works great

The only drawback to the Soundblaster USB products deal with sound the enhancement features, which are only available if you use their included software. Otherwise, it functions like any other sound card.
