Thanks Audiosoft!
the live update from EJ menu worked good, but when the new version started the layout is not optimal for me:
- EJ decided to close the artistlist (while the artistlist was open just before the live update)
- EJ is no more "full width" (probably a consequence of the artistlist closed..)
- the now playing album image has been reduced to its minimum size. it was full before the update.
PS: it is Very Hot today, i rest in the shade! and you?

Pirk,
I don't know how that layout could have changed. It should be the same. unfortunately i am late for outside work already...need to dig a 150 foot
trench today. asked the boss if we could rent a trenching machine but
he said it would break any pipes underneath so must do it all by hand.

ah ok, 150 foot = 45 meters to pick, good exercise! it's shallow i suppose..
i tried a few restarts of EJ: sure there is a resizing problem for me. no big deal, but each time i run EJ with the Artistlist Open, the now playing
album image is reduced to its min size.
Question: if i buy a 30" monitor in 2560x1600, could I expect you upgrade EJ for this resolution?
maybe the carousel/homeview could be centred, with now playing/playlist on the left side, and songlist/albumlist on the right side:

Such high resolution?... i don't think so. Not until i can afford one for myself to test with but you will finally get the WIDE right side and
you can run EJ with large fonts in Win7 which would make EJ run at a lower (still high) resolution to fill the screen.

"Designed for those who dream bigger"
Nowadays 2560x1600 is not so high and it's less expensive than before: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=224-9949
unfortunately there is no pivot (portrait mode) on this reference. it's a pity because in 1600x2560 EJ would not need any layout update!
this other monitor shows at 4096x2160 resolution! http://nexus404.com/Blog/2011/06/21/eizo-duravision-fdh3601-offers-spectacular-4k-resolution-eizos-huge-new-monitor-makes-1080p-look
-like-a-youtube-video-by-comparison-available-at-a-suitably-mammoth-price/
but it's not the same price... finally now the first one is more
affordable!
