You'd Never Guess....
Hi
I built my jukebox from a 1962 RCA console stereo. I completely gutted the cabinet, built new 3 way speaker enclosures for the 12 inch Pioneers,
tweeters and mids, added a touchscreen where the turntable was and refinished the cabinet. The electronics (minus the EQ) are all powered by tubes.
I updated an old Dynaco PAS-3 preamp and built an updated Dynakit ST-70 amp to drive the speakers. The sound of the tubes is awesome and it will get
very loud before it event starts to distort.
These pics are when I just about finished it. Since these were taken, I have updated the computer so it would run the software better. I have at
present over 800 albums loaded and am still adding more.
