Security Certificate

Hi Audiosoft,
Yesterday the security certificate pop-up pictured below started comming up each time eJukebox starts. I have not changed any security settings recently and am using Windows XP with the latest version of eJukebox.

The current security certificate is still valid until 11/10/2007 (we will renew it before it expires). The reason you are getting that message now must be that your system clock is set to the wrong date. So you can either set your clock to the correct date so that the message doesn't popup or you can safely click YES to proceed every time.

Thanks Audiosoft. I was looking at the calendar for December the other day and must have accidentally clicked apply! Sorry about that.

I'm having a similar problem, but I confirmed that my clock is set correctly. When eJukebox launches, I get the message...

Security Alert
Information you exchange with this site cannot be viewed or exchanged by others. However, there is a problem with the site's security certificate.
! The security certificate was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust. View the certificate to determine whether you want to trust the certifying authority.
* The security certificate date is valid.
* The security certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view.

Do you want to proceed?

[Yes] [No] [View Certificate]

I've viewed the certificates (both Audiosoft and the issuing cert) and tried (re)importing them. Nothing has fixed the problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Burke

click YES to proceed and it should work fine
if not or it keeps popping up then open internet explorer and do Tools->Internet Options
and try the Content tab and the Clear SSL state button
or the Certificates button and then move to the last tab (use > button) and remove our certificate if you blocked it by mistake

Bummer. Still not working.

>> click YES to proceed and it should work fine
Still getting the dialog.

>> Content tab and the Clear SSL state button
Cleared the SSL State, but still getting the dialog.

>> Certificates button and then move to the last tab (use >
>> button) and remove our certificate if you blocked it by
>> mistake
Nothing listed on Untrusted Publishers tab.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Burke

I fixed it, but I have no idea how it got messed up.

In case anyone has a similar problem here's what fixed it for me. I went to
https://certs.starfieldtech.com/anonymous/repository.seam
and downloaded the Starfield root certificate (.crt file)

Then, I went to IE, Tools-->Internet Options, Content tab, clicked the Certificates button, clicked Import..., and imported the .crt file.

Audiosoft and eJukebox are awesome!

Thanks for all your help!
