Error Getting the Update 3.2

I just got the update 3.2 but am getting the following error message... "Run Time Error 40006"
and "Wrong ProTocal or connection state for the requested transaction or request"
I have rebooted my PC and have also downloaded the full version only to get the same error message. Please help...

Do you get this error message with v3.21? And does the error occur during the installation or when you run eJukebox after it installs.

Are you using eJukebox2Web? Your using Windows XP correct?

If you have not done so yet upgrade to Internet Explorer 6 SP1 at: http://www.microsoft.com/ie

I'm using EJukebox, I believe it has the ability to use the web...I doi have Windows XP...I have Interent Explorer 6.0...on that link it mentions...

"Note: Internet Explorer 6 SP1 is included with Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1). If Windows XP SP1 is installed on your computer, you do not need to download and install Internet Explorer 6 SP1."

Do I still need to download it becuase I have 6.0 not 6.1 ?

OK, thanks.

In your case you don't have to install IE 6 SP1.

I should have a fix up for this shortly.

You are gonna need you to try something for me as I can't reproduce this error.

Startup eJukebox and Pause Playback.

Now, see if the error occurs when you right click the Now Playing song cover - Select EDIT.....Then On The Editor Click the "Lookup/Album Image" Button and then Click GO.

Also if you had an audio CD in your drive .... see if the error occurs when you open the CD Ripper.

Once I figure it out I will post the fix in here.

Did you enable the "Autostart CD Ripper/Remember CDDB data" Option on the Other TAB?

If you have a CD in the drive take it out and restart eJukebox and see if you get the error.

Did you enable any of the options on the WEB tab in the eJukebox options panel or are they all disabled?

Also do you connect to the internet through a Proxy server?

Was just trying to track down the internet connection that was causing the error.
It could have been caused by Image lookup, CD info lookup, or eJukebox2Web.
In your case probally CD lookup since you had the other options disabled.

You don't need to enable those options.

v3.12 did fix a bug with the album cover lookup that could have caused this error. Hope it continues to work for you. Let me know if you get the error again.
