database size problem

I came accross a unreasonable amount of music and it doesn't want to fit into the database. I can only load 49326 songs into the music database. How do i get around this and load more songs onto the database?

Wow! That's a lot of songs. As a temporary fix you could try making two databases (separate songs by genre or something) and switch the database files depending on what you want to listen to. Obviously this is not an ideal fix but it could hold you over until the issue is resolved.

By the way Audiosoft,
Has any thought been put into making eJukebox a multi-user interface with with a separate database and ratings for each user? I am assuming that might be tough since some of that info is stored in the id3 tags, but I was just curious. Thanks!

mdeyo,

Normally eJukebox should be able to manage your 49326 songs! I think the database is not limited, or at least the limit is very very high..
But maybe your are the first eJukebox user who try to load so much songs, and perhaps you have discovered another malfunction..

I guess i've found a legitimate problem

I CANNOT completely load all of my songs onto it because it stops loading them just over 49000.

If creating 2 databases is possible, how can i do that? i'm surprised there would be limitations on the database.

2 databases: It's not the "normal" way.. but you can install a "second eJukebox" (on the same PC) in another folder, then either you run the first eJ or the second.. with their own databases.
