A way of making EJ detect Compilations

Hi Guys,

Everytime I have to rebuild my EJ Database I have to tick Compilation for about 50 or so albums and it take a long time!

Is there anywat EJ could be made to detect these? (Maybe an option to make EJ mark Albums in folders containg "Various Artists" in the folder name as complilations or maybe EJ could add something to the MP3 tag to make the change permanant)

hmm at my system at least ejukebox puts albums, with various artists in the artist tag, under compilations.

Most of the files Im having troulbe with are APE encoded and hence have to use ID3V1, the artist is set to the artist that did the track, the Album to the Compilation name and the rest is as expected.

I dont want to put Various as the artist otherwise I wont know who did the track. Is there a way to mark an album as a compilation using ID3V1?
