How Do I Erase Information

I just purchased this program and I don't think the other answer that I received is helping me out. I recently received a new hard drive and lost all of my music and had to re-enter all of my cds. In doing so there are now duplicate cds shown and cds being shown that I don't have downloaded. How do I erase this information. The last time I asked this question I received an explanation that myself and three other people could not figure out. How do I erase information that I don't have in my computer from ejukebox.

The reply you got from audiosoft is the way it is done.

Simply rebuild your database. It is done from options---> update database--> Rebuild-database. Browse to the directory where your mp3's are located and they will be thrown into the database (erasing any old albums that may be in there to begin with).

You can also remove missing files from the database from options--->update database--->clean/refresh---> Remove missing files.

Hmm.. Maybe there should be a direct link to database maintainence in the tools menu? Easier to find.

Hope this helps.
