asio plugin for Winamp ?

I have been looking for the above plugin for Winamp, and the only file I can seem to download is one with a .7z file extention.I downloaded a couple of programs to extract the file.I extracted the file, grabbed the normal asio(out).dll file from the bin/normal folder, put it into Winamp, then selected the plugin in Winamp, then played it,NOTHING , NADA, ZIP.
I have had this problem before and wondered if anyone here can give me step by step instructions of where to get the right file and then what to do with it and how.
I know this is asking a lot, but I'm asking anyway.

You can find the ASIO plugings fro winamp here:
ASIO Drivers

The dll versions work best and are available for both 32 and 64 bit versions of windows.

This is where I got the original asio file from, and it didn't work.
The file that I chose was listed under section 4 for Winamp 5, then I picked the second file down.I downloaded it,unpacked the contents, then I chose the asio_out.dll file from the bin/normal folder, copied it and pasted it into the Winamp/plugins folder. Then opened Winamp, went into preferences, configured the out to the asio plugin, and I heard NOTHING on my amp at all.
This is why I'm wondering what I have done wrong.
So any further help would be great.
