Internal database bugs

v3.991:
problem 1:

After "clean / refresh" the whole database will be emptied.
(except for the number that is being played).
Another " clean / refresh" on the same music folder (ape and mp3) all numbers are added again (another 20 minutes lost).

Why ?

problem 2:

using search (F1), I have 5 albums of "De Skihut" (mp3 including 5 shown covers)
In the album list I have only 2 albums visible (and 2 covers)

Why are they not displayed in the album list?

problem 3:

Using search (F1) I have artist "Skunk Anasie"
In the 'Artist List', this artist is NOT shown.

Why Not ?

-----------------
All above 3 problems reproduce EXACTLY the same:
-Fresh windows xp install
-install ejukebox (3.98 3.9 or 3.991)
-update 6000 mp3's + 2500 ape's

What could go wrong here ??

Problem 2: Could be one of three things.

- First of all, how many tracks do these albums have? If these are Mini-EPs or singles, then eJukebox may not list them with default setting. You can tell eJukebox how many tracks are needed so that it is counted as album (in Album View, click on Options)

- "De Skihut" sounds like they could be compilation albums? If they are, have you set the "Compilation" Flag on all the tracks inside the eJukebox MP3 Tag Editor?

- What are the names of the 5 albums? eJukebox sometimes has problems when the names of different albums are near identical ("Golden Hits 95", "Golden Hits 97") and believes that the tracks actually come from the same album. However you don't see it because when clicking on the album, it will apply more "strict" rules and show you only the tracks that really match. With F1 you will find all tracks.

Problem 3: How many tracks from "Skunk Anasie" do you have? Again, artists with only 1 track may not show up in the artist list (depending on option setting). When investigating this issue, also look for spelling mistakes (The band is really called "Skunk Anansie", so maybe you have a typo on only 1 track)

more on problem 2 :

De skihut cd's are not entered as 'compilations', but as artist : skihut and Album : Volume 1/2/3/4/5

So they only differ 1 character. Could this be the problem ??

For problem 3: All cd's are full cd's so they ALL have more than +- 10 tracks.
I look at SKUNK anansie for sure. She is never in the list when i insert all my songs.

BUT if i start from a clean windows / ejukebox and I enter skunanasie and volume 1 2 3 4& 5 from Skihut, Everything is ok. All cd's, tarcks and covers are shown as they should ..

Very weird !! (and VERY irritating !!)
