Won't let me edit

Every time i go into edit mode, i get the error reprting option in Windows XP. I have tried uninstall, reinstall, compatability Nothing works. Like the program but i would like to be able to edit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does it give an error # or .dll file name when this happens?

No.

I get the windows xp error reporting screen with the option to report it or not. I clicked on the details button, but it does not give an error number, just a bunch of numbers and giberish.

Are you running XP Home or Professional Edition. Also how many MB of RAM do you have?

Windows XP Home Edition
512 Ram
80 gigs free

I've tried re-installing it on all 4 partitions on 2 hard drives. same thing every time.

Are your mp3 files on a local hard drive or a network drive?
