CPU Temprature

Hi
Can anyone tell me why my cpu temprature goes up to 71 when ejukebox is play

motherboard Asrock 880GMH/u3S3
Proccessor AMD3+ FX8120 Black edition 8Core
32Gb DDR3 Ram
it only goes this high when ejukebox is playing and the fan is sceaming its head off

What version of windows?

Check the ctrl-alt-del taskmanager and see how much CPU ejukebox.exe is using....and are any other programs using more CPU?

the only thing that uses much cpu when you are just playing is: the now playing panel vu meter and the animated backgrounds in the Vinyl Matrix skin. If you are using Vinyl Matrix you can try Tools->Skin->A5 Vinyl. or you can always minimize EJ to stop the animations from running/using cpu.

also, did you put the cpu in the motherboard yourself?
was there thermal grease on top the cpu chip before you put it in?

I doubt the ejukebox is responsible for this. There might be other process using your CPU. If Windows 7, check under "Performance" tab.
