CD COvers Not Appearing On Website
hussieskunk.com - 1-16-2004 at 05:52 PM

I have used Tag & Rename to apply CD covers to all my tracks, however, the CD covers are not appearing on the output of my website. The artist, song title, and album title appear on the page fine. Not one CD cover has appeared. Please help! Thanks in advance!

Welcome hussieskunk.com
Your site is great! ;)

I also use Tag & Rename and i have the same problem than you concerning images.
Audiosoft had tell me T&R is a stupid program because Windows Media Player can display images applied in the tags by eJukebox... That's true, but i don't know any program - aside from eJukebox editor! - we could use to put "eJukebox" id3 images?
I would prefer if eJukebox used a predefined picture type in the tags. That would be more easy to manage his mp3 collection...

So, for the moment, the only solution is to use the eJukebox editor! You can open it by a right click one a song in the songlist. :D

Hm, this should not be neccessary. I had the php script displaying the album images without a problem on a website, and all my images are saved in the id3 tags using tag&rename.

For me, using tag&rename (allthough the program itself ain't the best, and i'd sure like a better one) is a way of ensuring that the images are stuck in the mp3's no matter what, and granting compatibility with other software.

Also like your website, except the "now playing" blinking gifanim, which was extremely annoying. :=)

hussieskunk.com do the images show up in eJukebox?

hussieskunk.com - 1-17-2004 at 05:14 PM

I would say the vast majority appear in eJukebox...yes. There are some mp3s I have to still apply images to, but eJukebox puts the default 'blank' CD image up in its place. This I understand wouldn't appear on the site, however the mp3s I have tagged with T&R DO show up in the eJukebox window.

Thanks for the kind words about the site too.

I would like to use eJukebox to apply images, but I have tried that before and it is really um, slow, compaired to T&G. I mean I have literally, 25,000 mp3s I'm tagging. T&R make it easy to batches at a time compared to eJukebox. I wish that it was better.

Is there anyone of you, hussieskunk.com or junk, who use T&R to apply images and who have the images which appear in eJukebox?? Because concerning to me, that doesn't work!
Thanks.

It seems to work for me!

Pirk - 1-18-2004 at 08:04 PM

Well, since i have tried the latest version of T&R (v3.0), thanks to kraymer, ;) the covers i apply with it appear immediately in eJukebox and also in the others tags editors... That's great! :D
So the only case where images don't appear in T&R is when you have used the ejukebox editor to apply them! But if things work accurately using T&R, it's not a so big problem...

But my problem still is the fact that when images appear in eJukebox, they don't appear on my web site out put page.
