artist list

I've noticed a problem in the artist list (when you click on the artist tab, the sidebar comes up, and then expand it).
In the database, according to the count at the bottom of the list, I have 26 artists. However, only 13 show up. Any idea?

In the album view, there are 24 artists which show up, plus one "artist" that has the title of "internet radio" (not sure where that one came from, but i can't get it to play or get any information on what file may be).

Welcome robbieg123,

If you have just added new songs to eJukebox, be sure to close and re-open the artist list in order the new artists appear in the list.
But you are right, there are still some mysteries in the artist list...

I have also noticed some artists missing in my artist list compared with my album list.
So i've listed precisely which artists are missing, if ever that could help Audiosoft to solve the problem:

The following artists appear in my album list but NOT in the artist list:
Cabrel, Francis
Daddy DJ
Eagles
Fabian, Lara
H, Arthur
Jack O' Lanternes
L5
M
N&SK
Queen
Tabachi, Christian
U2
Yardbirds

I notice that each artist who don't appear should be THE FIRST ARTIST OF EACH LETTER in alphabetical order:
Cabrel, Francis = First artist of the letter C
Daddy DJ = First artist of the letter D
Eagles = First artist of the letter E
Fabian, Lara = First artist of the letter F
...
And that is true IN ALL THE CASES!

What it is strange is that not occur systematically with all the letters. So, there is certainly another condition associate in order that occur. But what is that condition? That is the question!

dang, you're right! I've never checked this before, but i just scrolled down the album list to see which was the first artist beginning with "S", which was Salif Keita. The second artist was Sandy Denny.

And in the Artist list, the first artist beginning with "S" is indeed, Sandy Denny! This kind of cencorship is quite uncalled for in our modern times... :p

T. Rex, survived, though. U2 as well. Van Morrison, too. Can't really make a pattern out of it.

Thanks for catching this one everyone... This has been fixed in v3.6.

It was a small bug in v3.53 that was hiding the first artist under each letter in the artist list.
