problems with eJukebox in Windows 8

I am searching for right jukebox software to be used for my own Jukebox cabinet. I had a look at this software and thought I would give it a try so I download the trial version after checking the specifications which my laptop specification are way above standard jukebox specification but no mention about Windows 8.
After install the software, I had problem working out how to play the music even winamp already installed on the laptop. It also running slow even there is only 11 songs in the database, the carousel is not moving smoothly. I get the error message saying “339 eJukebox.9.sub ControlVisualComponent ‘msdxm.ocx’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid”.
My laptop specification are Sony Vaio Duo 11 running on Windows 8 Pro, Core i5-3317U @ 1.70GHz, 4GB RAM and Intel 4000 graphics.
Can anyone please help me if I am doing it wrong or is there a bug with the software?
