Album Text

I have probably overlooked it in the forums but can the text size under the album on the album list page be modified?

hmm can't remember seen this mentioned in the forum before actually. Must have been before my time at least.. And yes I give you right, it would be nice if it was possible.. And if it already is I sure would like to know how as well :)

Yes, it can as I have done it myself. I don't have the specfics handy at the moment, but I believe if you look in the "nowplaying.dis" (or something similar), you'll see an entry for the album text font. Play around with it for maximum viewing pleasure.:D

Good luck,
Steve

Hmm I have difficulties to belive that this is done in the now playing dis. 1. Because it controls the look in the now playing panel And 2. Because I've tried to change just about everything in that file, many times ;)

Hmm.. I think you maybe mean the ejukebox.ini where there are a few albumlist settings. But most of these can be configured through the albumlist options in the gui.. Will have a look at ejukebox.ini though, there may be something there?

It would just miss a Albumlist.dis file, no? ;)

stsirois must be talking about the album text in the songlists.

There is no way to change the text size of the album name in the Album List. However, you can change if it is bold or not and if it scrolls or not from the Album List options panel.

Bummer, still thinking about the perfect HTPC display.

And none Albumlist.dis planned?
Would it be impossible, or will that be a future feature...?

The only problem with having a Albumlist.dis is the fact that we would have to get rid of the album list options that let you change the colors and background image from inside eJukebox. The reason the album name text size can't be changed is because it needs to be rather small for when scrolling the album name is enabled.

OK... so maybe could you add a new font size menu that would be only enabled when the scrolling is disabled?
Otherwise, i don't use the album name scrolling option in the albumlist...

A sollution could simply be to build font type and size options for the artistname and albumname directly into the album options panel? And make these ghosted when album scrolling is enabled, as suggested by the good french above ;)
