TIP: Scale EJukebox Larger with Fonts DPI setting on Windows 7
Audiosoft - 6-16-2010 at 02:18 AM

Thanks to Windows 7's new DPI scaling you can stretch EJukebox to any DPI setting you like.
Keep in mind this will make EJ run like it's at a lower resolution so 96dpi is still recommended except for 1080p.

EJ will run and scale with any dpi as long as you do this:
Click "Set custom text size (DPI)" and on the dialog
UNCHECK "Use Windows XP style DPI scaling".

The only thing that may not fit right are a few of the checkbox captions on the EJ options panels...as long as you don't raise the dpi too high for your screen.

By using higher dpi you can effectively scale EJukebox larger on 1080p screens and make the now playing panel and playlist equal in width to the right side - instead of being natively much wider.

1600x900 with Medium Fonts scales EJukebox larger and cuts EJ resolution

EJukebox with standard Small Fonts 96 dpi
displays the full 1600x900 resolution and does not strech/scale

Note to Audiosoft to update the Large Fonts dpi error message on Windows 7 to read:
EJukebox renders with full resolution at 96dpi. Higher dpi setting will work on Windows 7 but will strech EJukebox larger causing it to display less resolution.
If you would like EJukebox to run stretched to your current DPI setting you must first:

Click "Make text and other items larger or smaller"
On the left click "Set custom text size (DPI).
Uncheck "Use Windows XP style DPI Scaling"
click OK
click Apply
click Log off and restart EJukebox

So finally DPI scaling can work in eJukebox.. The texts in eJukebox become a bit blurred on highter dpi, but it works good in win7!

Thanks for this TIP.
