This is a weird issue. I don't know what to do about it.
Maybe someone has had a problem like this.

OK I have a song that decided to get stuck on the main screen. I try to hit play next, and it will play the song listed as next on the auto-playlist, but the old album and song title will stay listed. If i hit play next again, it keeps replaying the song at the top of the queue.

If I change the song at the top of the queue, it will then play something else, but we're still showing the first song and cover in the corner. It's driving me nuts.

If I start up Winamp with another song beforehand, then start up Ejukebox, it still shows the old song that was being the culprit, even though we're playing the song I started up before i ran ejukebox.

Any ideas? I've updated versions of Winamp, of Ejukebox, etc, with no luck.

It's a OLD autoplay bug... Sometimes eJukebox starts with only one song, the next song area is empty or it only duplicates the now playing song and, like you say, the title is and stays stucked!!

I think this bug - added to all the other eJukebox "damned classical" bugs reported in your forums many, many... many times by all the new users since several YEARS!! - certainly constitute to a general bad impression for many of these potential new customers during their shareware period...
It's too stupid that you lack sales because of that!
And of course, that also wastes the listening of all your registred users..

I hope you manage to fix all these old bugs and malfunctions for V4.0!! eJukebox must be and stay the best jukebox!

Let me share how I fix that....

Right click the playing album cover, chose previous. It brings up the previous cover. Now click off of it and when the right cover comes back it is the right cover...

Works for me! And yes it has been here for years. I thought it had to do with the song tho...

Unfortunately for me, when I click "previous" that do nothing at all.. even when I click off! But I think it's normal, because as this bug occurs just when I start eJukebox, there is no previous song to play.. So your trick doesn't work in my case.

I hope Audiosoft will have a solution!

Mine happens during play, maybe once an evening, but not autoplay, during playlist play. I guess not the same thing.

Just curious...how would you guys feel about eJukebox switching from using the external Winamp program to an embedded Windows Media Player 10 screen with video and audio visualizations? or still using Winamp for audio and using WMP 10 inside for video?

Ahh! So now you want to divorce with Winamp!
I guess that is your solution to the "title stuck" bug.. Well why not?
I use a great Winamp DSP plugin (octimax). I don't know how will be the sound for my MP3s in Media Player 10 ??

Otherwise, to display videos in the eJukebox now playing area would be super..

I've just compared the WMP11 sound with Winamp + Octimax:
I want to keep WINAMP!! Because the sound is a lot more NATURAL, thanks to octimax..

Another curious thing:
Now, in the eJukebox editor, if I "double click to go file": That starts the WMP11 interface and plays the song in it!! All that with Windows Vista..

That is weird about Vista. When you double click that link it is just supposed to highlight the file in windows explorer.
