Hey guys..

How do i manage the cover for my double cd?

The folder is named:
Destination goa 4

And then theres two folders in there.. cd1 and cd2 with the mp3s in them..

But where should i put the cover.jpg ??

Double cds:

eJukebox recognize double or multiples cds using some specific key words in the album names id3 tag:

album tag for cd1: Destination goa 4 - CD1
album tag for cd2: Destination goa 4 - CD2

or

album tag for cd1: Destination goa 4 - Disc 1
album tag for cd2: Destination goa 4 - Disc 2
...
album tag for cdx: Destination goa 4 - Disc x

Personnally I duplicate the cover.jpg file in each album folders... I don't know if one copy in the first cd would be sufficient? Maybe you could test that...

If you proceed like I explain, your multiple albums will appear only once in the albumlist (instead to have the same cover image displayed several time...), but all the cds will be perfectly detailled in the songlist.

Ohh i see.. I have to use that id3 tag thing..

But what do i do. I have 200+ albums and some have id3 tags and some dont..

it all just looks messed up when i import it all into EJ..

Theres gotta be some easy way to arrange this? What do you other guys do?

The problem i have is that all my albums are already ripped into my harddisk.. I think its much more easy to rip a with EJ's ripper.. But hey.. I'm not doing that again with 200+ albums hehe..

eJukebox was initialy conceived using id3 tags only, so no matter the physical location of the files. It's perfect for users who have various downloaded titles: generally they don't have the entire albums... But now most users have ripped cds, so complete albums. And I agree with you: the tagging phase is boring when you have many, many albums... So in this case a folder method is really appreciable! Only eJukebox tend to prefer the id3 tags...
So if you want a perfect looking result in eJukebox, the best is to use a specialized tagging program like Tag&Rename before importing your albums in eJ.
