New Albumlist for my CrimsonLive Skin..
Pirk - 10-28-2007 at 08:17 PM

Audiosoft,

My request concerns the Albumlistscroll.dis file:
Could you make it so the td {} is NOT applied to the Artist name area? So that would be more easy to skin the Artist area using a specific background image (I think you could add a ".Artist" in the dis file) which would not interfere with the "td" image used for the albums frames! cf my screenshot..

Thanks.

Well I think I've improved the thing a bit more.. but if you can help me on that I'm not against! ;)

Here is another attempt. Not so bad I think!

That would be great if the Artist area was separated from the Album area.. Do you think it's possible Audiosoft?

Audiosoft,

I noticed that in the first row the albums are always sticked together (no space between each album horizontally, but also no space between the artist name area and the first album row), while there is a few pixels of free space between the following row.
Could you make it so the first row also have the same free space (height and whide) between each covers?

Thanks.

Well I managed to improve things a bit, cheating on the image gap.. but that prevents me to use the css buttom and right borders! It's a shame.

Audiosoft please.. :)

Looking good Pirk! I will see what I can do to allow for different skin control on the artist and album. Though it looks like you already figured something out... How did you set the different artist background for these screenshots?

Ah thanks a lot Audiosoft! I'm waiting for that..

Could you also trim the album spaces between each row?

RE: How did you set the different artist background for these screenshots?

There is still only one background, I've enlarged the previous image and just aligned it on the right instead of center. So now it looks like if there was 2 different background images! What luck! :D

Good news...I have updated eJukebox for you and added .artistheader! So in your albumscroll.dis you can use td { } like before and add .artistheader{ } to override the td {} settings for the artist part.

Attached is eJukebox v4.88 refresh. This also fixes the carousel setting not being remembered on next startup problem. I will have v4.89 up sometime later this week. To install this: Shutdown eJukebox and Replace the attached file over your old C:Program FileseJukeboxejukebox.exe

Note: attachment removed 11/7/07- v4.89 released

Thanks a lot Audiosoft for adding the .artistheader so quickly! It will make things easier. :)

Trying the new .artistheader.. It works quite good, but I noticed that the css borders in td {} also apply on .artistheader. I would like to set borders separetely..
Could you fix that too?

Thanks again.

EDIT: Well adding "border: 0px;" first seems to fix this problem.

OK, I think the albumlist is improved with the new artist header.. We have now a lot more freedom using the background images. I really appreciate!

Hi guys,

Do you like this new Artist Header I've made for my Crimson Live skin? If yes, I will add it in a coming skin update..

Thanks.
