So I Never Did Get This Resolved
hussieskunk.com - 1-21-2004 at 02:23 AM

Cd cover artwork still isn't appearing. I am running a script handed down from Audiosoft. Additionally, AudioSoft is supporting my script on their server. Any help guys?

Just to make sure, have you checked the box saying "Non-eJukebox Looked-up Album Images via Port" in eJukebox, along with the rest of the eJ2web settings?

hussieskunk.com - 1-22-2004 at 12:58 AM

I have that checked and now I get an image place holder. Thanks.

But unfortunately I have yet to have an image appear. Any other ideas to solve the problem?

Audiosoft - 1-22-2004 at 04:42 AM

It looks like eJukebox is not able to figure out your IP address to serve the non-eJukebox images. This used to work fine before for you...have you switch your eJukebox PC to a different internet connection or have you modified your router or firewall or anything since it last worked?

Please go here: http://www.showmyip.com/xml/ on the eJukebox PC and paste the XML output in your reply to this post.

The link won't work as posted. To get to the xml page you have to to go to http://www.showmyip.com and click on the xml link.

Audiosoft - 1-22-2004 at 03:32 PM

Odd... the link works fine here...must be the problem cause thats what eJukebox uses. Maybe you need to reinstall internet explorer.

For the curious, here's what I get when I follow this link: http://www.showmyip.com/xml

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

I got a horrible error as well.. not the same as you, though. Normally i use http://www.whatismyip.com

stsirois - 1-23-2004 at 03:33 AM

The link works fine on my end. Using IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633 (what a version number, huh?) & Windows XP SP-1a.

My IP address may have changed. I had one static Ip a few months ago, and then recently got a new one. I haven't had to adjust my router/firewall, but I'll give it a try with the new address.

hussieskunk.com - 1-23-2004 at 04:40 AM

What port is eJ trying to send the covers back and forth on? I'll just open that port to access.

Here's what the web link you posted said...

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I am not sure how this happened but it seems we accidentally removed a crucial piece of code from v3.6 which allows eJukebox to connect to get the xml IP address results.

We have fixed this problem for the next version so that you will again be able to serve non-eJukebox images via eJukebox2Web 1.0. We will have the new version up sometime this coming week.
