Installed OK? Won't run
mugs - 3-29-2004 at 08:55 PM

I installed your 3.71 (complete) and get the following error upon startup:

"Cannot find ... Make sure path or internet address is correct."

It then it says eJukebox has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Any ideas? I've tried uninstalling and re-installing.

Using XP Pro.

Thanks

Do you use the latest version of Internet Explorer? Are there enought mb available on your C: to hold the files?

Not sure what it can be really. Have you built a database yet? Or did this happen on the first runtime?

I am using the new beta SP2 w/internet explorer. Tried installing on another computer, that must be the problem works ok on it running windows 2000P but now i have another error message after a few minutes:

run time error 438
object doesn't support this property or method.

The 438 error is related to the user having an on outdated version of internet explorer installed.

First during installation (of v3.71), it asks for a disk in drive F: (wich is my CD drive) dunno why? Anyway it goes on if I select continue...

But then I got this error when launching the program

http://gregsting.free.fr/error.jpg

"Cannot find..." after 2 or 3 messages it crashes...
It builded the database and so on but when launching main program...always the same problem...

I have winamp 5 and 2 installed dunno wich one is used... Using Win XP pro SP1 IE6 and sure I have enough ram or HD available...

Any idea?

In Internet Explorer click the "Tools "menu at the top ... select "Internet Options" from the menu...under "temporary internet files" click the "Settings" button. Make sure the "Current Location" is set to a folder on a local hard drive with some free space. If not click "Move Folder". Also you may want to try clearing out your temp internet files by clicking the "Delete Files" button under "temporary internet files".
