EJ hangup after first installation on new PC (v 5.47)

I'm a little frustrated. I have more or less problems after installing EJ on my new HTPC and trying to optimize it for the big TV screen. Now I want to install it on my normal PC to do the skin modifications. It would be very exhausting to do that in front of a big TV screen. :(

So I did a new installation by downloading v 5.47 and install it on my office pc. I choose the c:ejukebox folder. I added about 10 songs during the installation.

Now im starting EJ. The splashscreen is coming, everthing ok, the first song starts, then the normal EJ screen comes up. After 2 secongs the EJ screen hang up. The song is playing until the end. Then it's finished. EJ seems to be frozen. :-(

In the inital ejukebox.ini there is a strange value:

Width=14180
My screen is not really as such a wide. :-)
To reduce that value changes the starting size but seems not to be connected to the problem. EJ still freeze.

I'm familiar with this kind of black display... (and also with the stars!) sometimes on song changes EJ freezes during a few seconds, then it regains its senses.

Hmm. You mean I'm to impatient? I wait at least up to the end of the song "What's up". That should be enough time for EJ to sort it's stuff. :-)

no not at all! I said that just to keep Audiosoft warned that EJ tends to freeze.

Thanks for letting us know. Does anyone know if theres a permanent fix for this yet? Version upgrade perhaps?
