Please go to http://www.audiosoft.net/download.htm
then click the link that says "Click Here if eJukebox doesn't work after installation" and follow the instructions.

Have tryed all those steps numerous times, however, still the same crash is occuring. What else can I do?

Audiosoft - 6-14-2005 at 05:07 PM

Try deleting the folder: C:Program FileseJukebox
Then download and install the 'full version' again from http://audiosoft.net/download.htm

rythomas86 - 6-14-2005 at 05:43 PM

Nope, still nothing. Alll my other software is working OK, just cant seem to get this to go. what is msvbvm60.dll anyway?

Any other ideas anyone?

Audiosoft - 6-14-2005 at 05:54 PM

What version of internet explorer do you have installed?

rythomas86 - 6-14-2005 at 05:58 PM

Its IE6. the Exact version comes up as 6.0.2900.2180, and it says SP2 under update versions.

Audiosoft - 6-14-2005 at 06:00 PM

Try installing this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7B9BA261-7A9C-43E7-9117-F673077FFB3C&displaylang=en

Then restart your computer and see if eJukebox will run.

rythomas86 - 6-14-2005 at 06:07 PM

Still wont go. Im starting to think its never going to work:(

Audiosoft - 6-14-2005 at 06:09 PM

Did it ever work on your PC?

rythomas86 - 6-14-2005 at 06:11 PM

Nope, Ive never got any further than the post install bit. I have antivirus running, so as far as I know my system is not infected, and also like I said, everything else seems to be working OK.

Bit of a strange one this!

Audiosoft - 6-14-2005 at 06:21 PM

Try downloading this and installing to a new folder.
Download

Also, have your run a spyware scan recently? Spyware may be causing a conflict.

rythomas86 - 6-14-2005 at 06:28 PM

same again!!

I cant think why it wont start, its very fustrating I can a assure you! Thanks for your continued efforts though, I'm sure weel get there in the end!

Hmmm, Id imagine the last spyware scan was maybe 2 weeks ago, and it was clean, but, I shall run another now just to be sure!

rythomas86 - 6-14-2005 at 06:46 PM

Ad-Aware found 3 instances of Spyware, which were tracking cookies anyways. They have now been removed, but sadly, the problem remains :(

Audiosoft - 6-14-2005 at 06:55 PM

OK so what exactly happens when you run ejukebox?
Do you see the splash screen then get an error or do you get an error right away?

rythomas86 - 6-14-2005 at 07:01 PM

Yes, I get the splash screen, and the blue progress bar appears. It gets maybe just over 2/3 complete, then the crash happens.

Audiosoft - 6-14-2005 at 07:05 PM

Do you see the music database update wizard the first time you run ejukebox after installing it?

Also, you have Winamp installed right?

rythomas86 - 6-14-2005 at 07:06 PM

Only on the first run after the install. I select the folder that I want to add, it says that its adding files, and then after its processed them all, it crashes, and it doesnt come up again unless I uninstall / reinstall.

And yep, winamp is installed and functioning!

Audiosoft - 6-14-2005 at 07:22 PM

Hmmm...must be something wrong with the access database dlls installed on your PC. Did you install MDAC 8? Your running WinXP right?

rythomas86 - 6-14-2005 at 07:36 PM

I did yep, followed all the links from your downloads page. And yeah, my machine is XP Pro.
