I am thinking about just making the Genre and Year menus load the related songlist even if the album list is open. Would anyone object if the Genre and Year menu's no longer modified the album list? Let me know what you think.

I agree, to modify the album list each time is too slow with a big collection. So until now I tend to don't use the genre/year menus when the album list is open..

Maybe to have several lighten album lists/collections at the same time (selected from a menu on the Home page) would be best?
